Ingredients:

Rose-Infused Greek Yogurt:

  • 2 cups Greek yogurt (or dairy-free alternative)

  • 2 tablespoons rose water

  • 3 tablespoons honey or LIVA date syrup

  • 1 teaspoon culinary dried rose petals (optional, for garnish)

Fig and Honey Date Compote:

  • 6 fresh figs, washed and diced

  • 3 tablespoons honey or LIVA date syrup

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For Assembly:

  • 1/2 cup fresh chopped pistachios

  • Fresh rose petals (edible, for garnish)

Instructions:

1. In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt, rose water, and honey/date syrup until well combined. Refrigerate while preparing other components.

2. For the fig compote, combine diced figs, honey/date syrup, lemon juice, and vanilla extract in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens and the figs soften, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool.

3. To assemble, take serving glasses or bowls. Start with a layer of rose-infused yogurt, then add a layer of the fig compote.

4. Repeat the layers, finishing with a dollop of yogurt on top.

5. Sprinkle chopped pistachios over the yogurt layer and garnish with edible rose petals and dried rose petals.
